When Flora undergoes hypnosis to help her stop eating, the message gets confused and as a result Flora subconsciously reacts to phone bells by treating Stella as her best friend. Meanwhile, Stella is up for a promotion, and her supervisor from Angel Glow cosmetics is in town to get to know her better. The confusion culminates at a crazy dinner party where Flora uncontrollably snaps back and forth between attitudes and almost ruins Stella's business future.

Stella soon sets things right by introducing Della to an astonished town council.

Meanwhile, back in Harper Valley, Uncle Buster and Mayor Otis hear a news report that an ax murderer has escaped from prison and was last seen in the area of the Grizzly Gap campground. Worried, they prepare their own expedition to rescue Stella and the girls.

The Floor is a physical quiz show that sees 81 contestants face off in quiz duels on a giant LED floor divided into a 9×9 grid of squares, each representing its own field of knowledge.
The first challenger, selected at random, must choose one of his or her neighboring opponents to go head-to-head in an epic quiz duel in the opponent's category. The winner takes over the loser's square, gaining valuable ground as they expand their territory, while the loser exits the game. The winner must then choose – do they continue on and attempt to secure another square? Or do they let The Floor choose a new challenger?
