In the opener, A.J. deals with threats for "ignoring" the brother of a neighborhood drug dealer, and admonitions about his interest in Sydney's daughter, Danielle.

A.J. is happy about Danielle moving home, while "T" worries about a move made on Curtis's girlfriend.

When Malik is teased about taking ballet, he leaves the center, and A.J. choreographs a plan to get him back.

A.J. goes one-on-one with a former star hoopster who doesn't want his son---the Center's only hope of winning---to get hooked on basketball.

A.J. contends with an aggressive classmate who becomes a counselor;"T" vies to design shirts for Sydney's bowling team.

It may take a trick for Randall to keep a secret at the center's Halloween sleep-over.

When Sydney is hospitalized, A.J. makes a play for Danielle by preparing dinner.

The kids were hoping for a field trip, but not the kind A.J. has in mind---a day in which they clean the home of a old woman, whom the kids call "Old Lady Hatchet."

When Ms. St. Marth persuades A.J. to take some downtime, he winds up stuck to a Velcro wall.

William wins an essay contest but wants to write off a celebration because, he claims, his grandparents can't attend.

Notoriety becomes a nightmare for "T" when he is chosen to represent the center in a news story on youth services.

A "pre-ring agreement" devised for a couple at the center causes some confusion when it winds up in Danielle's hands---after A.J. has given her his college ring.

At home, A.J. wants to get to know Danielle better; at the center, he tries to help a youth whose grades are dropping.
