The Sale
With Edith and Phil's sunset retirement waiting on the sale of the house, Phil begins to despair of it ever selling.
Queenie talks him into holding an Open Day - but she has ulterior motives.
Edith is heartened to find that her son Roger is earning some sort of a living - even if it's only busking with her old flame Bob the Burglar and performing a ventriloquist act with his toy crocodile Methuselah.

The Disappearance
Phil has disappeared. While Edith searches for him, her difficult sister Joan invites herself to stay and Roger fills the house with unexpected guests.

Aunty Joan
Edith is finding her irritating sister Joan very difficult, and Roger, impatient to help Phil sell his house, decides to help by checking his roof for dry rot.

The Lemming Family
Edith and Phil are dismayed to find themselves portrayed in Wendy's prizewinning book, and Roger's hopes of becoming a carer look like being revived.

Damage Limitation
Edith and Phil finally set a date for their wedding, but romance is in the air for more than one couple.

Doing a Bunk
Removals men are busy at Phil's house as he and Edith make plans for their wedding. The one thing they are sure about is that Bob will be excluded from the event. Roger tells Edith how he will miss her and then announces that he is in love with Georgie, Bob's daughter. Edith explodes at his lack of judgement, but after swiftly changing the subject, Roger gets her agreement for a wedding video, which he says will be his present to her and Phil. However, he then proceeds to put Georgie behind the camera.
