King of Diamonds
Officers McCarren and Rado get involved with Gideon King, a former friend who pilfered some jewels from a group of master thieves. The friend, a veteran private eye, heists a diamond cache.

The two detectives discover that all that glitters is not gold in Hollywood when a celebrity photographer is murdered because of a picture he took.

No Place to Hide
The killing of a playboy bachelor puts McCarren and Rado on the trail of a ruthless murderer. Rado and McCarren's probe into the murder of a swinging bachelor leads them into a case involving a series of robberies.

Fast Hustle
The murder of an undercover reporter leads McCarren and Rado to the con man responsible of the crime. Stack, an informant for Nick and Rado, becomes involved in the murder of a journalist, Roger Bourne, who was on the trail of Scanlon, a drug dealer who owned the docks from which he distributed drugs. After successfully resolving a complex case involving an armed assailant, the undercover detectives yearn for a much-needed escape. However, their plans are thwarted when Captain Kiddle tasks them with the responsibility of safeguarding Cooper.

McCarren and Rado search for a ruthless killer, a counterfeiter trying to unload a shipment of bogus notes. The duo search for the ruthless killer of a San Francisco fellow officer.

Girls, Girls, Girls
McCarren and Rado are frustrated by their girlfriends and by a young couple brazenly pulling holdups right under their noses.

Connections
Rado and McCarren assist young model Annie Shane and her brother Brian, who are caught up in drug trafficking. They are targeted by powerful kingpin Bob Silver for a $20,000 cocaine package they possess. Corrupt cops Page and Costa, now Silver's enforcers, eliminate anyone obstructing his operations.

Out in the Cold
McCarren and Rado become embroiled in a case involving Soviet and American spies.
