Blackpool has seen better days. The whole town is struggling, and so is seafront hotel the President. Its owner,
Mrs Walsh , needs to turn things round so she kicks off her new regime with a ruthless inspection.

Duty manager Steph wants to host a bingo night at the hotel. But he's never called bingo before and the crowd are veterans who can smell a novice a mile off. Marketing manager Andy is having trouble rustling up enthusiasm for his new proposals.

A Psychic Predicts
Head housekeeper Zoe has a money-making idea for a show in which psychic Paula Paradaema reads the soles of the audience's shoes.

Pride and Preparation
The hotel is full, but there are not enough toilet rolls, the washing machine is on the blink and there's a staff shortage.

An Actor Prepares
The hotel is about to host a murder-mystery weekend, but one of the actors pulls out. Despite mounting pressure over broken lifts and customer complaints, manager Alan takes on the role.

Murder at the President Hotel
Alan, the general manager, is forced to act in a Murder Mystery event.

Ooh La La!
Alan decides that senior management should go on a fact-finding mission to Paris.

Going for Gold
Steph decides to enter the President in the Hotel of the Year competition. But can the staff get support from their customers?
