Journalist and ‘toyologist' Peter Jenkinson is on hand to give his predictions on this year's best-selling Christmas toys, along with his top tips on how to get hold of them.Chris and Kem try out some of the most popular children's scooters. With 2,500 versions on the market they ask which one should be on Christmas lists. Additionally, the latest high tech toys are put to the test by six sets of twins to try to determine if their extra interactivity is worth the money.Phillip also road tests some of the more unusual toys on offer this year, to try to determine if they make truly fabulous presents or just faddy gifts that won't last beyond the cold turkey trimmings. And the big gadget for this Christmas, the voice activated speaker, is put under the microscope.Coleen Nolan heads to Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield to see which perfume the British public prefers in a blind test – an expensive designer brand or a cheap high street imitation. And the Real Housewives of Cheshire get their hands on the hottest handbags.Among the more unusual gifts which Phillip tests this time is a hydrophobic stain-free shirt, the Illumibowl – a motion activated light for your toilet, and the ‘Licki Brush', a giant tongue shaped brush you hold in your mouth then use to groom your cat.
