Christopher Chance, a former special op agent, now specializes in taking the place of people whose lives are risk. First up is a building contracotr, and Chance not only has to fool his target's enemies, but the man's family.

Second Chance
Christopher takes on the role of an American Army General targeted for assassination, and soon discovers that the killer is connected to his past in Vietnam.

Christopher takes the place of a fashion designer, Garner St. John, who shares a romantic past with Libby.

Mirror Image
Christopher is hired by a psychologist who believes that one of his patients is trying to kill him.

Cool Hand Chance
Christopher takes the place of an unjustly convicted man in prison, but must face his own crushing claustrophobia from his time in a tiger cage in Vietnam.

Going Home
Christopher has to return to help a friend of the family, a judge who believes his life is being threatened. However, the Human Target has to deal with his father, who doesn't think much of his cover identity.

Chances Are
When a reporter's life is threatened after she goes after the leader of a doomsday cult, her cameraman contacts Christopher and the Human Target takes his place... and starts to fall in love with her.
