The story revolves around Zhao Xun, the victim of a workplace sexual assault case that was anonymously reported. Initially, she denies being harmed but five days later, she files a police report accusing rape. Defense attorney Lin Que becomes involved in the case early on, dismantling the victim's accusations one by one with undeniable legal facts, ultimately revealing the truth and bringing the criminal investigation to a close, leading to the withdrawal of the case by the police. The accused, who suffered personal reputation damage and faced the "black swan effect" on their business, successfully clears their name with Lin Que's representation and launches a civil lawsuit against Zhao Xun for defamation. As the details of the case are revealed, Zhao Xun becomes the target of online harassment, facing public shaming, losing her job, and her life spiraling out of control. Caught between the legal facts and her own "subjective truth," Lin Que faces unprecedented ethical challenges in her career.
