Brexit Special

Regional current affairs programme Inside Out is back with a Brexit special, taking a close look at the impact the vote to leave the European Union has had - and will have across England.

Travelling the length and breadth of the country, Inside Out will find out how Brexit affects you and your community. Lukwesa Burak reports from BBC East Midlands on what the vote to leave the EU may mean for the region's car industry; for BBC West Midlands, Dr Ranj Singh looks at the NHS in Birmingham and finds how well it can cope if it loses EU workers; and BBC North West follows two MEPs to find out what the Brexit vote means for them, questioning them on their validity in this post-Brexit world.

This is Inside Out's 30th series and as ever it will bring viewers the best original journalism, surprising stories and exclusive interviews. The series begins with the Brexit Special, which will air on Monday 5 September on BBC One at 7.30pm across all 11 regions, and will be available on the BBC iPlayer for 30 days.

It's a heartfelt window into the life of a child – much older inside than his 11 years – using comedy and self-deprecation to win friends and connect with the small collection of people in his limited world.
