Texas Couple Look for Less Stress on Galveston Island
Don and Kendra met while working in an emergency room in Texas. Kendra is an registered nurse and Don is a physician. In this high-energy, fast-paced environment they realized they wanted more from life when they weren't taking care of people. The summers in Amarillo have Don and Kendra hiding from the brutal heat and in the winter they're fighting to keep the ice and snow off their windshields. So this move to Galveston Island is about slowing down and making more time for an outdoor, relaxed lifestyle. They have four children, all in their 20s, who live in Texas so moving to a nearby Island means the family will come and visit more often. Stephon Eaton from Eaton Realty will be helping Don and Kendra find the perfect island home.
