Alba's mood is ruined when Becky and Dawn accept a teenage boy, Elliot, as an additional foster child living with them. Confiding in her sister Ruby, Alba thinks Becky and Dawn aren't serious about formally adopting them both. Frustrated by Elliot's arrival, this also has an effect on her performance for the Phoenix U13s, which results in her being sent off.
Jamie continues to work on his injury rehab exercises and Karen wants to reduce her hours at the hospital in order to spend more time looking after him. Mike reveals he's unable to continue to coach both Phoenix sides to Duncan, who volunteers to help coach Phoenix himself, freeing up cash to create a Head of Wellbeing position at the club which he offers to Karen.
