Del XI
Two years have passed since the t remendous events in Silver Height. Eva Thornblad has left Silver Height behind him and returned to the big city's gray concrete and his work within the Stockholm Police. She tries to move on but struggles with the sorrow after Josefin and the pain that the earthquake exposes her to. Soon Eva enters into a mysterious case related to her own past and she is forced to confront the mythological world she decided to leave.

Eva's investigation is wrapped in mystery as her work tears at old wounds. Goran Wass joins the Stockholm police charged with a mission from his organisation.
Del XIII
As the search for the missing girl continues, Eva and Wass find something of a personal nature - while Bahar becomes increasingly suspicious of the officers behaviour.

Eva and Wass find evidence that more children's lives are in danger. Bahar launches her own investigation and Tom gets an offer that could affect his friendship with his colleagues.

Eva is back at the Thornblad farm, but it is not how she had imagined. Koljonen makes a startling discovery.
