They move in together and put their first-day nerves aside to take up their responsibilities on the wards.

Ben's dream of working with children turns into a nightmare when he is faced with little Alfie's tears and tantrums. Sameer is called to his first real emergency, where he is confronted with the harsh reality that he cannot save every patient.
