The series has a simple plot using surrealism to encourage children's imagination: Cobi resides in the Tibidabo observatory, located in the Catalan city of Barcelona before and in the middle of the Olympic Games. Inside or outside the city they live great adventures where they face the plans of the villain of the series, Doctor Normal, and his assistant Tamino. These plans are typical of a Generic Villain, such as destroying the world or nature, and sometimes plans to annoy Cobi's gang or the city of Barcelona itself. Both Cobi himself and his friends are completely unaware of the Dr's existence, and always manage to ruin his plans. The series consisted of 26 chapters with 3 short stories each.
