Chris, who runs an educational garden, wants to help the whole community put on a show. Football coach Brian wants to spread the word about powerchair football so that disabled and and non-disabled teams can play together. Working in one of the most deprived parts of town, Lizzie wants to unite her multicultural community through international food evenings, while Michelle wants to encourage locals to upcycle unwanted clothes and learn skills in the process. Viewers return four weeks later to see the winning project in action and find out what has happened with not only the winner but the runners-up too.

Barry
The seaside town of Barry, south Wales, sees four people pitching their dream projects they believe will make a big improvement in their neighbourhood. Having donated to the community fund, the residents of Barry get together in the town's famous Memorial Hall to hear four very different ventures before choosing the one they support the most. Former Welsh Guardsman Sean wants backing for his idea to help children and parents stay fit and have fun, while green-fingered Nicky wants funds to create a sensory garden. Aoife hates the negative headlines that the litter on the beaches creates for Barry and has a novel approach to keeping the town's beaches litter-free, while teacher and archeologist Karl wants to share the secrets of the ancient Barry medieval ruins that are lying unmarked. The local residents decide who takes home the money and starts their dream project.

Wakefield
Four West Yorkshire locals get together to pitch dream projects to their community. These ideas could make a big improvement in their neighbourhood, but they need a cash injection to get started. Having donated to the community fund, residents of Wakefield gather in Ossett's grand town hall to decide between four very different proposals. Retired property developer Tom has a unique plan to get elderly people online by creating a drop-in centre. Community worker Adam wants to convert an unused room in a community centre into a free gym, while Trish wants to showcase the work of students with learning disabilities by putting on a special art gala exhibition. Retired head teacher Sheila wants funds for an unusual therapy for dementia patients - using robotic cats. The local community decides who takes home the money and makes their dream project a reality.

Rhondda Cynon Taf
Four locals from the Welsh valleys get together to pitch their dream community projects to residents, in the hopes of receiving the vital cash required to get started. Having donated to the community fund, locals gather in Pontypridd's Muni Arts Centre to decide between four very different ideas. Reverend Lewis wants funds to get his furniture-restoration project for the unemployed off the ground, while keen gardener Caryl wants to make her community allotment more accessible to those with mobility issues. Steve wants funds to train as many people as possible to use a lifesaving defibrillator, while Katy and Amy want to set up new craft classes to teach new skills. The town residents decide on the winner - who will take home the money and make their dream project a reality?

Calderdale
Some Calderdale locals get together to pitch their ideas for a project that could make a big improvement in their neighbourhood. Having donated to the community fund, residents gather in Hebden Bridge's Little Theatre to decide between four unique ideas. Viewers meet Adrian, who wants funds to monitor rain water and reduce the risk of another flood, while Catherine wants cash to upgrade the facilities at her mother-and-baby group. Local radio enthusiasts Howard and Ilyas want to record life stories of locals for a global audience, while John wants to make the iconic local canals more attractive and enjoyable for all. The local people decide who takes home the money and makes their dream project a reality. Viewers catch up four weeks later to see the winning project in action, and reflect on what the experience has meant to the community.
