In episode three, 28-year-old equine vet Heather and 33-year-old cattle and sheep farmer Christine's dates arrive to sample rural life, and Pete's time with Helen and Caroline on his dairy farm is nearing an end.

Episode 4
Presenter Sara Cox joins eight rural romantics as they begin the journey to find love. After meeting some of those that wrote in, 59-year-old pig farmer Wendy and 53-year-old farrier Mark both invited two potential love interests to experience rural life back at their respective homes. Despite hoping to meet a younger man, Wendy was drawn to former banker Paul and businessman Simon, both 64. On arriving at Wendy's farm, the competition intensifies with both men vying for her heart, and while Simon finds himself in a difficult position, things become clear for Wendy.

Episode 5
Presenter Sara Cox joins eight rural romantics as they begin the journey to find love. Richard sets his dates to work tagging 50 sheep to see how they measure up to farm life.

Episode 6
In the series finale, we find out if farrier Mark and pig farmer Wendy have landed true love, and we catch up with dairy farmer Ed and his date Rebecca to see if their relationship has lasted the distance.
