The series is based on real events that took place in the occupying Warsaw. In the series, these events are associated with the department, code-named 'Talon', which was active in Warsaw during the Second World War. Its main goal is the elimination of people convicted by underground courts. The main characters of the series are two friends: the commander of "Claw" Leszek Zaremba, pseudonym "Onyx", and Tadeusz Kozheniewski, pseudonym "Daguerre". The first is conscious and collected, he acts with one hundred percent accuracy and efficiency. However, every day he doubts the correctness of such behavior, and remorse does not give him rest. The second, on the contrary. The reality of the occupation awakens in him a growing desire to strike back at the Germans, he decides to use evil in the name of higher goals.
