Huge disagreements between journalist Torgrim Hammern and political editor Frank Mathiesen causes a challenging vibe in the newspaper environment. Later, Hammern is found dead in the parking area, and a rumour starts spreading that an organized group is killing journalists.

The surveilance tape capturing the Hammern murder is leaked. Political editor Mathiesen is asked to go to the police after discovering the letters found on Hammern's car is also in the commentary in Mathiesens publications. Peter and Mathiesen think Hammern was onto something big, and they visit his wife hoping to find clues.

Peter's friendship with Mathiesen is tested. Technology journalist Georg helps Peter find a log of conversations between the murdered Hammern and someone calling himself 'No Reason'.

Peter succeeds in freeing himself and kills Mel, before taking his USB key containing a copy of the photos of Hammern. He returns alone to Oslo with the help of Fritzmann whom he contacted from Istanbul.
