Helm sets out to find an air freight company executive who disappeared after deciding to terminate his involvement with a drug smuggling ring. In the premiere episode, Matt Helm's search for an airline owner in hiding after his car was bombed, leads him into the dangerous world of international drug smuggling. Helm, hired by Paula Sydon to find her missing father, is unaware that Sydon'is involved with Jack Harte, a pilot friend, in flying Illegal drugs from Mexico and wants out. Meanwhile, powerful attorney Oren Bates, the mastermind behind the illegal operation, vows to make an example of Sydon to prove nobody gets out alive.

Now I Lay Me Down to Die
Helm is hired by a charming socialite with a dual personality to investigate a murder that she may have been committed while acting as her other self.

After the lawyer who was helping her find her natural parents is murdered, an adopted woman turns to Helm for help.
