Realizing Mustafa is lurking around the hostel while Menekşe is alone he immediately gets himself there. Halil arrives and makes sure Mustafa is not there. The family arrives from house hunting and Halil finally presents himself to Menekşe's father. Hasan accepts Halil's hand and begins treating Halil with trust and respect.
Halil and Menekşe are happy about Hasan's acceptance. Hasan however is in effect impressed by Halil's money and is hoping that he can get Halil to pay for all his financial needs.
Zeynep is increasingly disturbed by the rapprochement of Halil and Menekşe. She begins dropping false clues of her closeness with Halil only for Menekşe's audience.
Mithat's secret war against Halil finally benefits Mustafa, and just when Mustafa thinks he is all washed up, Mithat's goons call him back into their pack.
Zeynep finds a way to turn Halil's dinner for Menekşe and her family into a nightmare for the two lovers.
