A man brutally murdered in the middle of the majestic mountains north of Kiruna. The victim turns out to be a French citizen, and the experienced homicide investigator Kahina Zadi ordered from Paris to Kiruna. Together with the Chief Prosecutor Burlingame and his deputy, prosecutor Anders Harness, she begins and investigation that will soon be staggering ppoportions. Another brutals murders committed before the eyes of Kahina and Burlingame.

The French police Kanhina Zadi and the prosecutor Anders Harnesk looking desperately for connection between the bestial murder of Frenchman Pierre Carnot and the helicopter pilots Kambo. On the bullentin board in a deal happen Anders see a note with the murdered Kambos name and the number 20. Evn a not with Carnot's name and the number 21 is found.Shocked realize Anders and Kahina that this is just the beginning.

It is clear that the horrific murders commited in Kiruna after a death list. Three men are already dead. When Anders study murder scenes closer he makes a painful discovery. The traces of Sami symbols. If it comes out at risk the small mining community to be torn apart by hatred and conflict. The autopsy report shows that chief prosecutor Burlingame poisoned with rare herbs. Shaken by the task Anders visiting a shaman on the mountain to get the answers on who can provide herbs. Noaidi gives him a name.

Injured and exhausted Kahina held captive by the confused and intoxicated Bangkock Jori who admits that he sold the herbs that killed prosecutor Burlingame. Back in Kiruna will Kahina approached by a threatening Frenchman who demands that she keeps him informed about everything in the investigation. Kimmo and his closet colleagues miners get all the video on their cell phones that shocks them. Someone knows what they have done.

The prosecutor Anders Harnesk receive information about another murder. At the same time, he becomes increasing concerned about Kahina is missing. Outside the police station waiting for a young Frenchman who claims that he is Kahinas son. Sparen considering going to the police and tell them everything he knows. But first he calls a meeting.

Anders and Kahina find unexpected and unpleasant links between the murder victims, and some of the residents of Kiruna. Kahinas chief in Paris orders her to report about the investigation directly to the mysterious Frenchman. It is no longer about an ordinary murder investigation. Kahina begins to fear for her son's life.

What dark secrets was that Sparen confided Sami girl Evelina? Kahina is determined to f ind the body after Evelina and send divers down to the stream where she was last seen. The case was closed as a suicide, but too many traces in the investigation leading to her. In Eddie Geatkis abandoned hous you Kanina and anders the last pieces of the the puzzle in a horrific plane. But where's Eddie?
