In the Neighborhood, everyone is celebrating Thanksgiving Day. Thomas Farmer delivers a live baby turkey to X. All of the other Neighbors are preparing hot chocolate to take to the dinner at the castle. Friday invites the turkey to be a guest, rather than the main course, at the Thanksgiving feast.

Mister Rogers plays a knocking game. He talks about pretend and visits with a live turkey. There is a miniature submarine in his fountain; Thomas Farmer comes to the Neighborhood to take his turkey, who has been staying with X, back to his farm. Friday threatens to throw Thomas in jail for carrying a miniature submarine, but there is no jail in the Neighborhood.
