Sarah Moore is on a mission to rescue three unloved and unwanted items from Wallyford Recycling Centre in Scotland. To help her on her quest, Sarah turns to designer maker Rupert Blanchard to come up with a creative new use for some wooden garden chairs while carpenter Bruce Faulseit is tasked with turning a redundant sewing machine stand into something special. Sarah takes on the ambitious project of restyling a pair of bedside tables - but will all her hard work pay off?

In Altrincham in Greater Manchester, Jay Blades is scouring the recycling centre in search of three unwanted items to save and sell on. Designer-maker Ollie Allen takes on the challenge of transforming some metal springs while upholsterer Leigh-Anne Treadwell gets to work giving a new lease of life to an old blanket box. For his own project, Jay has two tables to add some creativity to, but will he succeed in finding new homes for all his upcycled items?

Metalwork maestro Kev Paxton has his hands full with a collection of scaffolding poles and upholsterer Simion Hawtin-Smith has a tired rocking chair to inject some new life into. Jay sees profit-making potential in a pair of dining chairs, but will he succeed in finding new homes for all three items?

At the recycling centre in Woking, upcycling aficionado EJ Osborne unearths three hidden gems with profit-making potential. To transform his trash, EJ calls on robot maker Mark Haig to find a new use for an unwanted tape player while designer maker Rupert Blanchard has the tall order of making half a chest of drawers whole again. A draughting chair is given the upcycling treatment by EJ, but will the transformations ensure he can return a profit to the items' unsuspecting owners?
