{Families in Fijd} : Freshly returned from her studies, 21 yr old Sanna holds big plans for her father Bengt's farm, but when she meets the local farmer Marcus, they instantly hit it off, throwing the families into conflict. Missing Persons Investigator Tanja gets a new assignment - to search for a man who has been missing for two years. It is a cold case that she sees as an opportunity for recognition. 

{Suspects} : Sanna's father, Bengt, begins to consider Sanna's ideas for the future, but gives her an ultimatum between inheriting the business and her life with Marcus, though an unexpected development simplifies the choice. Tanja launches a search for the missing man and identifies some suspects.
 

{Unexpected Help}: Sanna and Marcus' plan backfires when they run into financial problems. To rake in the inheritance, a body must be found.  They try to cover up Bengt's disappearance, but Sanna's sister calls in the police, who comb the farm and its surroundings. Tanja is about to give up when she gets unexpected help.

{Under Pressure}: Sanna and Marcus are under pressure from several directions. Questions linger over Bengt's estate, leaving them to face financial complications.
Tanja decides to find the truth herself and approaches the suspects. She finally makes contact with Marcus, with potentially disastrous effects for his personal life.

{The Truth Will Out} : Sanna and Marcus' relationship breaks down. Marcus disappears and seeks comfort elsewhere; Sanna attempts to reconcile with her sister. Tanja tries to get to the truth at any cost. She receives an unexpected visitor and treats it as an opportunity to uncover the truth about Bengt's disappearance.
