Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys (3-1) visit Christian McCaffrey and the undefeated San Francisco 49ers (4-0) in a rematch of last year's NFC Divisional Playoff game in the Week 5 game.
San Francisco has defeated Dallas in the last two postseasons, including a 19-12 win in last year's NFC Divisional Round – their NFL-record-tying ninth postseason matchup. In total, the two franchises have met in six NFC Championship Games – including "The Catch" game in January 1982. The rivalry reached its height in the 1990s when the teams played nine times overall, and met in three consecutive NFC Championship Games, following the 1992-94 seasons. The winner of each of those three matchups won the Super Bowl.
