Episode 1
The body of Gloria Severini is found on the floor of her living room by the cleaning lady. When Valeria arrives at the crime scene the victim's 20 year-old son can't be found. But is he really guilty?
Episode 2
Valeria conducts the investigation, but can't stop thinking about her mother, whom she has finally decided to ask, once and for all, the truth of why she killed her father. Lucia, put on the spot, tells her that her husband wanted to leave her, but she tells Giulio that she has once again lied to her daughter in order to protect her.
Episode 3
An ordinary administrative case: a man has been run over on the highway by a hit-and-run driver. There would be no need for Valeria, but Inspector Ferro understands right from the start that things aren't as simple as they seem.
Episode 4
The investigation is also a chance for her to get away from her family: the last altercation with her mother has left her disappointed and bitter and she wants nothing to do with her anymore. But, after making peace with Lombardi, Valeria returns home to her uncle Giulio, the man who raised her like a daughter.
Episode 5
Giampaolo Petrone, the openly gay owner of a nightclub, is found dead. The man was not in close contact with his family, who had never accepted the fact that he was gay, and so Inspector Ferro begins questioning his circle of friends and acquaintances.
Episode 6
Valeria wants to solve the case and submit a transfer request. When her uncle Giulio finds out he is shaken and confides in Lucia who, on the other hand, seems happy about her daughter's decision. Alone, the two share a passionate kiss.
Episode 7
On the night that she was killed, Irene played her final concert. First violin in an orchestra and the daughter of Adele Rubini, the owner of a prestigious theatre, she was a talented and beautiful young woman.
Episode 8
This time, however, Valeria isn't there to question those close to the victim as she is in Rome regarding her imminent transfer. Andrea Russo, her right hand man, sees to it, not as talented but definitely just as interesting. To convince Valeria to stay Lombardi promises that they will reopen the case of her father's murder.
Episode 9
A university math professor, Emanuele Sarti, is found dead in a tunnel inhabited by a homeless man in Valentino Park. Strange mathematical formulas are discovered written on the walls of the tunnel: improbable that it's a coincidence.
Episode 10
After deciding to remain in Turin, Valeria returns to the crime scene of her father's murder and discovers a piece of evidence that has been overlooked in the past: that night, in the house on the lake, in addition to her mother and father, a third person has been present.
Episode 11
The entire Rocchi family is found dead in a hillside villa and all evidence points to a terrible case of homicide-suicide engineered by Sandro, the head of the family. But the youngest, Samuele, only six years old, is found alive and well in the trunk of the car. What if the whole thing was staged?
Episode 12
Valeria is riddled with doubts about her own case as well. So she decides to confront her mother and learns that Mario wasn't her real father. But this isn't the whole truth, Lucia is still hiding something from her...

A woman is strangled outside a woman's shelter. Her abusive husband is suspected. At the same time, Valeria's mother disappears.
Episode 14
Valeria has found her abducted mother's remains. She thinks back to 1998 and realizes she may have seen the abductor before. He may be responsible for the crime for which her mother was sent to prison.
Episode 15
Valeria is still reeling from the news about her mother. The rest of the force work to find the killer of a child.
Episode 16
Valeria recovers and returns to the investigation, noticing that evidence appears to have been planted.
Episode 17
A young woman has died while performing Shibari. Valeria and the police find it was not an accident.
Episode 18
A charred corpse is found at a small brick factory. Valeria, still recovering from a death in the family, slowly makes amends for her behavior towards Andrea.
Episode 19
Samuele Torti confesses to the murder of a young woman. He also admits another crime, the murder of Livia, but when the police find the body, it brings more questions than answers.
Episode 20
The death of Francesca Molino, an oncologist respected by her colleagues and beloved by her patients, at first suggests a suicide. Valeria understands that something is wrong.
Episode 21
A dead woman is found in the parish church. Valeria investigates in the neighbouring monastery, where more than one of the residents already has a criminal record.
Episode 22
The death of a military psychologist causes a great stir and just when Valeria starts to make progress, she is taken off the investigation when it becomes a military matter.
Episode 23
A young pregnant girl is found dead after a desperate escape from a cult, The Daughters of Maat. The more Valeria digs, the darker the truth of the cult's secrets becomes.
Episode 24
The poisoning of the prima ballerina at a prestigious dance company brings old rivalries back to the surface. Meanwhile, Valeria visits Viola and offers her full support.
