Episode 1
The first of a four-part series following a community mental-health nurse visiting her patients (service users intoday's jargon) in their homes. We see their sometimes sad, mostly funny and often bewildering interaction with the nurse as she comes to assess their progress, ensure they are taking the correct medication and offer comfort and support.

Episode 2
Community mental health nurse Liz tries a new form of treatment on Jack, a sceptical young soldier with PTSD. Graham and his mum kiss and make up, while Maurice helps Lorrie overcome a bout of depression with his acute 'impersonations'. Old 70s rocker Ray has had enough of his harp.

Episode 3
Community mental health nurse Liz ponders why Graham is over the moon, while Jack recalls a grim time in Helmand but retreats to his 'safe place'. Cat Lady discusses her New Romantic glory days, while Billytries his hand at preparing vegetables from Liz's allotment, despite the fact that 'they are muddy, and I don't like mud!'.

Episode 4
Liz's personal problems come to a head in this final episode, though she is a lot less sympathetic with her ex-husband than with her service users. Billy notices that Liz isn't sharing her chocolate. Jack findshimself in a hole, but quite likes it. Herbert tries to woo Liz, and Graham manages to rise from his bed and walk. Hallelujah!
