Day Nine

Isa Guha and Mark Chapman recap all the drama of day nine in Paris, with the men's 100m final taking centre stage at the Stade de France on a busy day of Olympic competition. The star attraction on the track was American Noah Lyles, while British record holder Zharnel Hughes was hoping to add an Olympic medal to his World Championship bronze. Team GB athletes were also competing in the swimming this evening, with the men vying to improve on their Tokyo silver in the 4x100m medley relay. A trio of Brits chased gold in the dressage final, the men's golf reached its conclusion, three golds were decided in the artistic gymnastics and two tennis titles were decided at Roland Garros - the men's singles and the women's doubles.
