Day Seven
Isa Guha and Mark Chapman look back on a frenetic day of Olympic action, as 23 finals took place, with British athletes among the favourites in several of them. Team GB swimmers Ben Proud and Duncan Scott were among the star names in action at the pool, while gymnast Bryony Page was seeking a third successive Olympic medal in the women's trampolining. British BMX racer Beth Shriever was out to retain her Olympic crown and rowing duo Imogen Craig and Emily Grant were going for gold in the women's lightweight double sculls.
