Jim Moir and his wife Nancy continue their ornithological adventure, journeying to a different area of the UK in each episode to spot and paint the unique species of birds native to that region. Along the way they meet ornithologists, local artists, and a couple of Jim's famous friends who will have a go at creating a bird-inspired artwork. Scotland: Crested Tit
The couple explore the forests of the Cairngorms on the hunt for the elusive crested tit, along the way creating works with actres Ronni Ancona and learning about Chinese painting.
Ireland: Little Tern
The couple go in search of little terns in the Irish province of Leinster, meeting musician Imelda May and birdwatcher and author David Lindo along the way.
