Capítulo 1. La amenaza
A man kidnaps a young investment banker and threatens to kill Haro, a Machiavellian aristocrat serving time in prison for rape and murder. The investigating judge in charge of the case, Lucía Vergara, receives Haro's offer to collaborate in the investigation. Mariana Urbina, director of private banking, tries to get billionaire Miguel Arrieta as a client.
Capítulo 2. Veneno y mezcal
Lucía begins to negotiate with Haro to obtain more information about the kidnapper of privileged people, but the discovery of a worrying family secret distracts her attention. Haro himself becomes paranoid when he receives a new threat inside prison. Mariana resorts to dark contacts to solve the management with which the billionaire Arrieta has put her to the test.
Capítulo 3. La casa en ruinas
Faced with the difficulties in the investigation of the kidnappings, Lucía receives a reckless proposal from Haro to try to catch the murderer of privileged people. Hurt by her complicated family situation, the judge accepts Mariana's invitation to an exclusive social event that she has organized for the billionaire Arrieta. Fer makes a first date with his university classmate, Lupe.
Capítulo 4. La otra vida
Increasingly surrounded by the police, everything becomes complicated for Óscar when the banker manages to escape from the crypt. Mariana decisively executes the next steps of her plan to scam Arrieta. Lucía loses control of the judicial investigation when prosecutor Prieto threatens to reveal irregular actions in her past.
Capítulo 5. Atrapada
Lucía begins to suffer the consequences of the risks she is taking in the judicial investigation. Mother María, hurt by Óscar's lies, threatens to report him to her company. Mariana contemplates with satisfaction the growing attraction between Arrieta and Lucía, but she feels disappointed by the direction that the dark romantic relationship in which she has embarked has taken.
Capítulo 6. Cuerpos
Lucía embarks on participating in a therapy session with ayahuasca, seeking clarity in the face of the personal dilemmas that torment her. Fer finds out about his father's complicated financial situation. Óscar discovers the place where Haro is hiding and, taking advantage of the fact that the aristocrat continues to give free rein to his worst desires, he begins a lethal stalking of him.
Capítulo 7. La gran oportunidad
In his eagerness to prove that he is capable of helping his parents, Fer ends up falling into Haro's clutches. Óscar and Mother María receive a visit from Arrieta, interested in buying the convent in one of his luxury real estate operations. Everything becomes complicated for Mariana, who ends up facing a terrible family dilemma.
Capítulo 8. El juicio final
Óscar is harassed by a police operation that forces him to barricade himself in the crypt desperately. Haro executes the last step of his long-awaited revenge plan against Lucía, who stirs furiously and helplessly in the web of deceptions and half-truths that the aristocrat has been carefully weaving around her. Meanwhile, Mariana stakes her destiny on a single card.
