Episode 5

It's 9pm, and a woman arrives in custody after being arrested on suspicion of causing harm to her baby. Suffering from multiple bleeds on the brain, the baby is in a critical condition, and police suspect that the parents are involved. As the woman is taken off for questioning, her partner is arrested, and both are grilled by detectives determined to get to the truth. But when both deny that they have anything to do with their baby's injuries, will the evidence put before them lead them to crack and reveal what's really happened? At 9.20pm, a task force heads out to raid a factory believed to be used for the large-scale production of cannabis and that's suspected of being linked to a major organised crime group. Police need to seize the grow and arrest anyone inside. But with the knowledge that these gang members are violent and have weapons, will the officers manage to successfully execute the raid unharmed? Meanwhile, back at HQ a call comes in from a woman claiming that her partner is stalking her and has sent messages to her phone threatening to kill her. Knowing that the suspect has a dangerous dog, a specialist unit heads out to make an arrest. Once the suspect is in cuffs, police search his house, looking for the one piece of evidence they need to build a case against him, the mobile allegedly used to send the threatening messages. But as the suspect has a history of destroying evidence, will they be able to find it, and secure enough evidence to keep him behind bars and his partner safe? It's 9.45pm and a woman makes a frantic call, claiming that a friend's son is trying to break into his mother's house. She alleges that the man is a drug addict and is making his mum's life a living hell. When police arrive, the man is agitated and claims he's done nothing wrong. But when officers speak to his mother, a harrowing story of a relationship gone wrong unfolds.
