In ancient times, alien objects wrapped in meteorite arrived at Fengziling, bringing seven mysterious creatures with them. Organisms can parasitize the human body, interfere with consciousness, and induce people to do evil. The ancient great master and his disciples made seven wooden slips from sacred trees and named them "Seven Root Heart Slips". A hundred years ago, a dog accidentally dug up a wooden slip in Fengziling, and the heart slip reappeared in the world. Over the past twenty years, one after another bizarre murders have occurred. Five ordinary and passionate young people, Kiyo, Luo Ren, Yan Hongsha, Shiwansan and Cao Yanhua, formed the "Phoenix Squad" by chance and embarked on a journey to conquer the murderous crimes together.
