Leo and Isabel throw a New Year's Eve bash, but the guest list doesn't preclude party crashers from showing up---including Everett, Isabel's ex-fiancé.
The Day the Earth Moved
During an intimate moment, Leo tells Isabel he wants to marry her, but both are confused about the statement's meaning. Meanwhile, Karen slyly arranges to visit Doug.
Billable Hours
Jake refuses to explain why he's desperate for $100 in cash, but sees an opportunity to earn it by chauffeuring Isabel's visiting cousin, Anne. While driving Miss Annie, though, Jake begins falling for the quiet, contemplative girl.
Karen and Her Sisters
Will Karen and Doug's cheatin' hearts tell on them, or will Leo? Meanwhile, Isabel ain't misbehavin' but feels guilty anyway when she runs into Everett while jogging; and Jennifer receives an ominous letter from one of her professors.
Valentine's Day
As Valentine's Day approaches, Leo is strung out with work, and Isabel goes out to a concert with Everett. Meanwhile, Alan notices that his wife is "glowing."

Everett finds an apartment for Isabel; Leo's grandfather has a heart attack; and Karen admits to Alan that's she's seeing someone.
