In episode one, it's time to partito, as Saara beams in from Italy connecting today's contestants Alex in Eastbourne, Charlotte in Tyne and Wear and Catriona in Glasgow. They compete for a prize so sizzling hot it could heat your home for a week! Their delicious versions of Saara's Finnish favourite ‘Allwehadleftinthefridge' bring tears to her eyes and the mums' attempts at finish the lyrics score high on the cringe factor. In one case they sing a completely different song. But who will bag themselves the most samojis and secure their place in the Remotely Funny hall of fame?

Tearing their houses apart via remote wifi are Molly in Aberdeen, Leonie in Devon and Hope in County Durham. All eager to hold a Remotely Funny hoodie in their hands. Coming in wirelessly from her home country, Finland, Saara is ready to serve up her special samojis to any worthy contenders.

Saara is in Sweden where she connects with Kiki in Bristol, Fraser in Norwich and Nasser in Eastbourne. They've got their supersized game faces on to scare off the opposition and to try to get their hands on a limited edition Remotely Funny hoodie. Expect complete carnage in the kitchen when Saara tasks them with making the Finish classic Saailitdoon Thewatter and Hopa Itsinks in Food Flash, and if you're a pop music lover you might want to press mute on your remote when the mums and dads sing for samojis in Remotely Funny Families.

Shanai in London, Sophie in Newcastle and Josh in Leicester connect with Saara in Russia, all desperate to become the latest Remotely Funny champion. On the quest to success the chaos starts in a mad dash round their bedrooms to grab the item on Saara's wish list as fast as they can but has she gone too far in asking them for something breathing? It's the only TV show with a toilet break to watch TV, parents attempting a Russian Cossack dance and an emoji quiz in the battle for supremacy but which brave contender will keep their game face on all the way to the big finale?
