Episode 1
Deaf man Daniel Brennan is leaving prison after ten isolating years inside and is now a man on a mission for revenge. Shunned by his parents and community, Brennan has nothing left to lose, until he is reunited with his estranged daughter, Carly. His concern for her means his plans have to change.

Episode 2
Brennan tells Carly that he's heading to his school reunion. Unbeknownst to Carly, his motives are much darker than he is letting on. Christine goes to meet Anna from probation to see if she can help her get the answers that she wants from Brennan.

Episode 3
Brennan drives to Sean's house to confront him, but now he also has Christine in tow, desperate for answers about why he killed Ray. When they arrive at the house, Christine is witness to a conversation that reveals that Brennan, Sean and Ray were abused at school. Brennan finally opens up to Christine, telling her what happened on the night of Ray's death.

Episode 4
Brennan and Carly decide to see the probation officers to ensure he doesn't get sent back to prison, but first Brennan wants to check in on Sean following a worrying message. Disillusioned with his job, Joe decides to give Christine the information that she was desperately seeking, including the recording of Stephen in the interview. Carly realises that her dad will never be able to move on until he confronts Monroe, so she decides to help.
