Robson's Extreme Fishing Challenge - Season 1
Season 1
Episodes
Brazil
In some of the world's greatest fishing destinations Robson Green challenges local masters of their craft over five rounds of competitive fishing. To win he has to catch the most, the biggest and the best - it is Robson versus the world.
USA
Robson travels to Michigan and Lake St Clair for his first clash, facing off against a father and son team of expert muskie - or `water wolf' - fishermen. He then travels to Detroit, Lake Huron and finishes his tour in a professional fishing contest against 40 other anglers.
Mexico
Mexico has coastline on both the Pacific and the Caribbean, offering a wealth of different salt water targets. The first stop for Robson is the marlin capital of the Pacific, Cabo San Lucas. There, the plucky Geordie faces a match-up with a trophy-winning marlin hunter in a battle to catch the most of these iconic game fish.
Canada
Robson heads deep into the Canadian wilderness and faces four of the country's most experienced fishermen in some of its most jaw-droppingly beautiful locations. Summer is in bloom so the usual white snows have been replaced by an explosion of colour and life.
Texas
Robson is in Texas, where he hunts for a monster catch, hits the Gulf of Mexico and fishes for shark from a beach.
East Coast of America
Robson Green hooks up with local champions for five rounds of competitive fishing. To win he has to catch the most, the biggest and the best. On the east coast of the USA, Robson fishes for tuna, shark, lobster, cod and haddock. His opponents have local knowledge and are highly competitive.
Peru
Peru is the next stop on Robson's tour, one of Latin America's largest countries and seat of the ancient Incan empire. Here Robson fishes in the world's largest river, its largest ocean and in one of its highest mountain ranges.
Alaska
In the wild waters of Alaska, Robson Green goes fishing for varieties of salmon, trout, lingcod and halibut. Facing conditions ranging from the heavy swell of windy Homer to the pristine waters surrounding a native American reserve, he finds himself up against tough local champions.
