Moo-jin promises free rent and ends the house hunt for Mi-rae, who's upset he's flaunting his wealth. He clarifies: He's doing it to win Ae-yeon back.

The War of the Byeons
Moo-jin clears himself of suspicion in the fire incident. Later, Ae-yeon briefly disappears, leading to a chaotic family reunion at the police station.

A Midlife Crisis Begins
Ae-yeon turns Moo-jin down at dinner but can't shake her lingering emotions. Curious, she starts looking into his mysterious 11-year absence.

I Want to Get Closer to You
Byeon Hyeon-jae moves into his dad's place, as per Mi-rae's wishes. Ae-yeon's tension eases when she learns about Moo-jin's time in Thailand.

Mi-rae leaves a note and goes missing — has she left Family Villa for good? Meanwhile, Moo-jin's unfortunate past begins to catch up with him.
