Episode 2
The team are tackling the challenge of building the bath house which is the epitome of Roman sophistication.
Episode 3
The team attempt to erect the giant timber frame. The first need to find suitable trees in the local woods from which to build the oak frame.
Episode 4
The team have reached the midway point in the challenge to construct a Roman Villa. The huge wooden frame has been erected and there is a race to get the roof on before the weather turns.
Episode 5
September has arrived and the villa is now taking shape. Work begins on finishing the bath house and plasterer Tim has the massive task of plastering over 3,000 square metres of walls using an experimental Roman recipe.
Episode 6
October has arrived and the team are making their final push is on to get the Roman villa completed on time. The plaster in the main room won't set, so the painting of the frescoes can't get underway.
