Room Crashers - Season 3

Season 3

Episodes

Glam Lounge
A bonus room being used for laundry and storage is transformed into a usable living space. By covering up the utilitarian linoleum floor with black and white striped flooring, demoing a wall to make the room more open, and enclosing the washer and dryer with a bar, the room becomes more inviting and spacious. Adding a window, bold wall paper, bright colors and lots of textures, the space is transformed from dark and dreary to hip and glamorous.

Chic Kitchen
No storage and ill fitting cabinets are two of the main problems in a Craftsman style house built 100 years ago. The wall between the kitchen and dining area is knocked out adding new opportunities for storage and seating. New cabinets are added throughout the room; a glass tile backsplash highlights the kitchen area; a white engineered quartz counter, new bar, and a sliding door make the room bright, clean, and modern. Pops of color like lime green accent walls, bright orange bar stools, and a turquoise chalkboard wall, give this kitchen new life and take it into the present.

Cozy Contemporary Retreat
An unused garage and bonus room are transformed into a high-end lounge in just three days. Todd and his crew gave this space a total makeover complete with a slick fireplace to warm it up, recycled industrial bookshelves and a entertainer's bar. Plus, this design goes above and beyond with custom furniture, a unique stripped wall treatment and more!

Cosmopolitan Dining Room
A boring and beige track home does not reflect this young couple's international sensibilities. The dining room gets an old world transformation with the addition of reclaimed wood beams, a metal wine trough on the dining room table and a world map art piece. A wine barrel chandelier, branded wine barrel flooring and deep purple paint create a rich and worldly vibe. By continuing the floor into the great room, and adding a metal and wood sculpture in the foyer, the whole house is transformed into a cosmopolitan space. The final touches of storage ottomans made from wine boxes and pendant lights with Edison-style filament bulbs complete the transformation from blah to beautiful.

Hollywood Loft
A 1920s loft with no closets, dangerous stairs, and dark colors, is brought back to life in this full-on make-over. New, cascading stairs are built across the loft with butcher block steps and traditional posts. The posts are filled with rope-like webbing adding a modern design touch to a vintage look. A closet is built upstairs and one expanded downstairs. The room is divided into three parts: office, dining space, and living space. To create even more space, the wall between the living room and kitchen is opened up and a butcher-block-topped bar created. Custom art, pendant lights, bright paint colors, and wallpaper make this Hollywood loft a home.

Lavish Family Room
Todd and his team transform a dark, uninspired basement into two warm and inviting spaces. They install engineered wood over the old marble floor to warm the room, and put up a new wall with a sliding door on a barn door track to create a guest room separate from the family room. A low, custom couch becomes built in storage, a beloved foosball table is given new life, and bright Moroccan inspired textured and colors make it a place the whole family can enjoy.

Storage Savvy Master Bedroom
A couple with two small children desperately need an adult-only master bedroom that's romantic and full of storage. By replacing a window with a slider, and building a small landing with stairs down to the backyard, the room immediately seems larger & more open. A new headboard filled with cubbies and shelves for storage utilizes the wall behind the bed, while a new bed with built-in drawers provides storage in otherwise dead space. A repurposed desk set into the closet provides a work space, while the ceiling is painted with a romantic scroll pattern, beautiful pendants are hung in lieu of table lamps, and wall decals, overlays and bedding provide color & texture for a cozy, romantic master bedroom.

Poolside Retreat
A sleek and contemporary look is given to an unused pool house and the vast patio outside it. A new and modern looking mantelpiece is accented with a Venetian plaster finish. A Queen-size bed with storage fills a small and previously unused corner. Cool greys and a pop of red on the front door make this more of a hang out space for family and friends. Outside, a custom pergola is built over the new fire pit made of recycled brick. Existing furniture is painted black for a modern and elegant look and accents with patterned cushions.

Origami Office/Guest Lounge
A bland room off the garage serves as a young couples' makeshift home office. They get a multifunctional makeover with the addition of both an office and guest lounge in one. A Wall Bed is installed with an alcove of cabinets and shelves to provide both storage and a sleeping area. The alcove is faced with wood flooring, and another wood flooring is used to create a desk created from metal vintage desk legs. The installation of a vintage wall unit that can be used for a bar, a charging station and an LP storage system continues the mid century multifunctional theme. A handmade textile storage pocket system and origami paper curtains bringing in pops of color of orange and greens. New handrails from plumbing pipe and grasscloth wallpaper provide finishing touches on an origami themed space that functions as both a home office and a comfortable guest room.

Aqua Lounge
Water is the inspiration for a swanky lounge makeover complete with a fully stocked shark tank, two spacious sofas, a lighted coffee table and a shimmering bar.

Beach Lounge
A bland backyard and an used bonus room are tackled in this Venice Beach episode. Inside the room gets fresh paint, a bamboo bar, a striped floor, new French doors, and a window where a wall was to open out onto the Jacuzzi. Outside, concrete pavers replace old stone and gravel; succulents and ferns liven things up; and furniture and the firepit are freshened up and recycled. A muted color palette inside and out accented with pops of bold yellows and reds; mode egg chairs and paint splatter lanterns help turn this unused space into the ultimate indoor/outdoor party pad.

Family Entertainment Room
A young couple's bland bonus room is transformed into a fun family space with a custom day bed, new entertainment system and doors that open onto a refreshed patio space.

Entertainer's Lounge
A garage used for storage becomes the ultimate entertainer's lounge with a custom bar, quartz countertops, a huge TV and dual fireplaces.
