Episode 5

The new series continues, as Sarah Beeny and her family build the home of their dreams on their 220-acre farm in rural Somerset. This time, the family enhance their new greenhouse to make it well and truly part of their home. Keen to get back to nature, Sarah and Graham have always dreamt of growing more of the food that they eat, and so bought the greenhouse to do just that. But it became so much more than just a space for growing veg for Sarah, as it turned into a sanctuary for her to escape the tricky times that her chemotherapy treatment brought. Sarah and Graham want to create warmth for people as well as plants, so they transform the greenhouse into a welcoming outdoor room to be enjoyed in all seasons, complete with an antique wood burner to make it cosy whatever the weather. Alongside the greenhouse transformation, the family also put on a chicken rehoming event, inspired by their own rescue hens.
