Episode 1

Sarah and the family begin a new series by creating a traditional country house library, inspired by an 18th-century stately home she previously worked on. It will be covered from wall-to-wall in bespoke bookcases, with sustainable timber coloured to give it a rich, aged, antique appearance, and with another reading area to house more books - a cosy book nook on the landing. Graham installs the library's best kept secret - a hidden drinks cabinet.

Sarah and Graham turn their attention to the guest bedroom, with plans afoot to create a secret, Narnia-inspired room in the eaves, accessed through the bedroom wardrobe. For inspiration, she takes Laurie to Taunton to see the Willow Cathedral, a unique living structure, to recreate back at home.

They draw inspiration from the Chinese bedroom at Longleat House and the plant-based textiles and natural dyes on display at London Fashion Week. Sarah realises that she can't carry on working in random parts of the house, so comes up with a plan to seamlessly weave her workspace into the living area.
