Jean Smart / Jelly Roll
"Saturday Night Live" launches its milestone 50th season on Sept. 28 with Jean Smart hosting for the first time. The six-time Emmy Award winner just won her third Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on "Hacks," streaming on Max.
Jelly Roll makes his musical guest debut. Currently on tour, the Grammy Award-nominated artist's new album, "Beautifully Broken," will be released Oct. 11.
Nate Bargatze / Coldplay
Nate Bargatze makes his second appearance as "SNL" host on Oct. 5. Bargatze's "The Be Funny Tour" continues this fall with dates nationwide.
Coldplay performs as musical guest for the eighth time. The band's 10th studio album, "Moon Music," will be released Oct. 4
Ariana Grande / Stevie Nicks
Ariana Grande hosts "SNL" for the second time on Oct. 12. Following this year's release of her latest album, "Eternal Sunshine," the Grammy winner next stars in "Wicked," in theaters Nov. 22.
Stevie Nicks marks her second appearance as musical guest, following her first appearance in 1983. Nicks is a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee.
Michael Keaton / Billie Eilish
Michael Keaton returns to host "SNL" for the fourth time on Oct. 19. The award-winning actor stars in "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," currently in theaters, and "Goodrich," in theaters on Oct. 18.
Billie Eilish takes the stage as musical guest for the fourth time. The Grammy-winning artist will launch a worldwide tour this fall, supporting her newest album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT."
John Mulaney / Chappell Roan
John Mulaney hosts for the sixth time on Nov. 2. The Emmy winner stars in the new Broadway play, "All In: Comedy About Love," opening Dec. 11.
Chappell Roan makes her musical guest debut. Her album, "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess," has spent nine weeks in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200, and her latest single, "Good Luck, Babe!," has amassed nearly 1 billion streams.
Bill Burr / Mk.gee
Bill Burr returns to host "Saturday Night Live" for the second time on Nov. 9. The Emmy and Grammy Award nominee is currently on tour with his "Bill Burr Live" show.
Mk.gee performs as a musical guest for the first time. He is currently on a world tour with his critically acclaimed debut album, "Two Star & The Dream Police."
Charli XCX
Charli xcx does double duty on Nov. 16 in her first appearance as "SNL" host and third appearance as musical guest. The Grammy-nominated musician released her remix album, "Brat and It's Completely Different but Also Still Brat," earlier this month.
Paul Mescal / Shaboozey
"Gladiator II" star Paul Mescal hosts the Dec. 7 episode featuring musical guest Shaboozey. Both appear for the first time.
Chris Rock / Gracie Abrams
Chris Rock returns on Dec. 14 for his fourth time as SNL Host. The actor-comedian was a cast member from 1990 to 1993, and previously hosted in November 1996, November 2014, and October 2020. Rock is joined by The Secret of Us singer Gracie Abrams, making her SNL debut as Musical Guest.
Martin Short / Hozier
Martin Short returns for his third time as individual host — and fifth overall — on Dec. 21. He was a cast member for one season — from 1984 to 1985 — and returned the following year, in 1986, to host with his Three Amigos! co-stars Chevy Chase and Steve Martin. Short hosted solo in December 1996 and December 2012 and then returned in December 2022 to co-host with his Only Murders in the Building co-star, Steve Martin.
Hozier is the musical guest, his second time performing on SNL. The "Too Sweet" singer celebrates the December 6 release of Unreal Unearth: Unending, the deluxe version of his hit 2023 album, Unreal Unearth.
