Scrappers - Season 1

Season 1
Episodes

Pay Day
Straight-talking Terry Walker and his glamorous wife Lyndsay run a multimillion-pound scrap empire - but they don't always see eye to eye. So, when Lyndsay discovers that Terry has spent the week's payroll at a car auction, all hell breaks loose.
Little Dave, Boyle, Coxy and the rest of the lads rely on Terry - a lot of them couldn't get a job anywhere else. Debs and Michelle at the on-site cafe are worried that no-one will pay off their tab from the tick book.

A New Broom
Terry has promised Lyndsay that he will stay away from car auctions and curb his spending. With Lyndsay watching his every move, Terry puts the pressure on Little Dave and Chris with some new ideas to make the yard more profitable. He is desperate to impress the wife, but must he talk about redundancies at their weekly date night?
Debs and Michelle have problems with their new menu, and everyone's keeping a wide berth when Terry decides to train young Boyle in the crane - can the lad surprise them all and pass his test?

A Bright Idea
Terry and Lyndsay haven't had a row for weeks, but when the scrapyard king decides to throw an open day to celebrate 21 years of working together at Metro Salvage, tempers start to fray.
The news that young Boyle has been arrested for driving offences doesn't help matters, and with the pressure getting to him, Terry totally loses it with Lyndsay in front of everyone. With days to go until the open day, Lyndsay is not speaking to Terry, the big event could be a disaster - and their marriage is hanging in the balance.

Wish You Were Here
Scrap king and queen Terry and Lyndsay Walker are swapping Bolton for Tenerife and heading off for a luxury break, leaving their precious yard in the hands of daughter Jemma and son Jon. Lyndsay just wants to soak up the sun, but Terry can't forget about work and is soon watching CCTV from the yard on his mobile phone and directing operations from the balcony of his penthouse suite.
In Bolton, things go from bad to worse as the lads take advantage of the bosses' absence and two of Terry's favourite workers are sacked.

Crunch Time
Terry faces some big decisions about Boyle and Chris, the two lads sacked while he was in Tenerife. Lyndsay thinks he has given enough second chances and Little Dave agrees. When Boyle snubs Terry by telling him he does not want his support in court for his driving offences trial, even Terry thinks it could be time to say goodbye to his young protege.

Dream On
The yard is running smoothly and boss Terry Walker is getting bored. His plan to get the lads to take part in a semi-naked calendar might keep him amused, but will anyone else get their kit off?
And when Terry tries to make a quick profit selling grit salt, Lyndsay realises she's got to keep her eye on him. She'd love to get him to slow down, but as the team gathers for the staff Christmas party, it's clear that retirement is the last thing on his mind.
