Shirley is in Tokyo to do a story on the Kabuki Theatre Company. She becomes involved in the affairs of Ralph and Marion, a young English honeymooning English couple.

In Hong Kong, Shirley helps a young fisherman to get money to repair his boat amd also manages to get a scoop for herself.

Shirley's boss, Dennis Croft suggests that she takes a week off. Shirley is suspicious, and she is right to be so. An auto rally has more thrills than she had imagined.
