The Meeting
At a Detroit shopping mall, twins Tia Landry and Tamera Campbell meet for the first time, but when Lisa gets a job in St. Louis, and Tia is worried that she will not see Tamera. Tia and Tamera get lost at a local train suburb, where they meet with Lisa and Ray and they discuss whether or not Tia and Lisa should move into Tamera's house.

First Dates
Tamera decides to go with a date to the school dance, breaking a promise to Tia as they had both agreed to stay home unless they both had dates.

Slumber Party
Tia and Tamera host a slumber party, and Lisa's romance comes to an end when she catches her boyfriend with another woman.

Cheater, Cheater
Tia makes the honor roll at school, Tamera overhears Ray and Lisa discussing their kids and school and decides to make Ray proud of her by getting an A on her history test. On the day of the test, she blanks out and begs Tia to take the test as her to make the grade.

Out Alone
Tia and Tamera take a city bus to see a movie but get lost on the way home.

The Pimple
Tia is anxious over a pimple and asks Tamera to go on a date in her place.

Car Trouble
Lisa buys a new car which is a major fixer upper. Tamera causes damage to Ray's car.

The Birthday
Lisa is upset when Ray treats the girls to a Chicago trip for their birthdays; Tamera's friend Sarah feels left out.

Love Strikes
Tia and Tamera try to break up Ray and his new girlfriend.

Wedding Bells & Box Boys
Lisa is reluctant to let Tia go on a date with an older boy but agrees as long as Tamera also goes. Ray is caught kissing the bride of the wedding Lisa is designing gowns for.

Mothers and Other Strangers
When Lisa's mom comes for a visit, Lisa convinces Ray to pretend they are married. Tia and Tamera search for a talent for the school talent show.

The Concert
The girls win tickets to a concert that Lisa and Ray don't approve of.

The Marlow Murder Club
Retired archaeologist Judith Potts lives alone in a faded mansion in the peaceful town of Marlow, filling her time by setting crosswords for the local paper. During one of her regular wild swims in the Thames, Judith hears a gunshot coming from a neighbour's garden and believes a brutal murder has taken place.
When the police are reluctant to believe her story, Judith finds herself forming an unlikely friendship with local dog-walker and empty-nester Suzie and unfulfilled vicar's wife Becks as they start an investigation of their own. Eventually asked to assist with the official police investigation, headed by newly promoted Tanika, the women must piece together clues, grill suspect witnesses, and face down real danger as they work against the clock to stop the killer in their tracks.
