Desperate Measures

When Ane hears that Olau is going to Africa for 6 months, she does everything she can to make him stay. Emil and Mads takes the chance when there is needed a new tenant for the apartment above. They agree that is should be a woman, but that is also the only thing they agree on. Øland is responsible for warning the unpredictable upstairs neighbor Klaus about Olau's going away party, and even though he fears the man, he must later realize that they have more in common then he thought. The closer the going away party comes, the more drastic means does Ane feel compelled to use to make Olau stay. But it is hard without revealing why.

It is not easy for Olau to have a long-distance relationship and he tries to spice communication with her up with a little Skype-sex. Everyone is trying to tell Olau how to have Skype-sex with his girlfriend and it ends up being an overwhelming experience. Ane going to an important job interview, that ends up awkward when she meets an old flame who has not forgotten her. Mads decides to choose a godfather to his future child, but it is more difficult to choose between friends than he first thought and Øland will stop at nothing to get the title.

Mads initiates a crazy plan to get better visibility to the lesbian opposite neighbors. Ane gives Emil a friendly nudge and puts his music on the net, but Emil gets depressed as he can not handle the subsequent criticism. Øland is temporary for the caretaker Klaus and abuses the responsibility that comes with the title. Olau is having trouble with his boss who unjustly pulls him in wages, and Ane continue to disturb him for completely different reasons.

Although Emil is happy about his latest catch, he has trouble accepting her young age. Mads appoint himself to love expert and advises both Emil about his age complex and Øland who have received a text message from a mysterious woman who wants a date with him. Ane persuades Olau to participate in an article she has to write for the fashion magazine, and before he knows it Ane has found a lot of things to do he can not vouch for. Emil finally surrenders to the young girl, but gets problems with her father.

Olau has gotten a stalker and to help him, Ane poses to be his girlfriend. Emil trying to behave adult to his young girlfriend, but it goes completely wrong when he takes the task too seriously. Mads wants to prove that he can be a good father by tending a baby doll, which proves to be difficult when the city lures and the ladies are waiting. The friends thinks Øland is gay, but he gets them on other thoughts in his own way.

The big poker night is upon us and all the friends look forward to a decent round of locker room mentality. Ane goes on a wellness trip with Lærke who says that she is sexually frustrated. The boys get in a fall out over the poker game, and it turns out that Øland has new hidden talents. The play-urge takes over and suddenly the friends are at a casino with their last pennies while Ane must exceed her borders to help Lærke with her sex life.

Ane is distraught when she doesn't know how Olau feels about her, so when Olau gets a handsome study partner at visit, Ane sees an opportunity to make Olau jealous. Emil has to meet a deadline and his performance anxiety affects everyone in the apartment. Øland wants to impress the upstairs neighbor Klavs by jumping off the diving board in the local swimming pool, even though he's never learned to swim.

Øland takes on Christmas tree shopping with Emil, but it turns out that they have very different opinions about Christmas. There is crunch in Olaus relationship with Rose and he calms the problems by taking advance on the Christmas beer. Under the influence Olau helps Mads get full view to their naughty opposite neighbors.

The friends goes to a cottage to celebrate New Year's Eve. Mads and Emil are disappointed by the lack of girls, but when Lærke shows up, a fierce battle begins for them to get her attention. Ane uses the special evening to tell Olau about her feelings, and gets a very unexpected reaction. Øland wants to celebrate the New Year with lots of firework, but it gets out of control and it becomes a New Year's Eve they will never forget. Especially Ane, who gets a surprise that turns her life upside down.
