A birthday pint in his local reminds Jambo how it felt to be a vulnerable teenager 20 years previously. Set in Derby, and starring Michael Socha, writer Byron Vincent's emotionally affecting monologue shows in stark detail the dangers facing teenagers growing up in poverty with no support systems and the impact this can have on their mental health.
Hannah
An incident in her bedsit over a cake has left Hannah and her baby temporarily homeless. Set in Great Yarmouth, and starring Emma Fryer, writer Kerry Hudson's monologue highlights the plight of the working poor and how, despite doing everything right, it's still possible to find yourself in a desperate situation.
Regeneration
As the developers close in, mushroom seller Gary remembers when he was slum-cleared as a child. Set in a London market, and starring Gary Beadle, writer Gabriel Gbadamosi's monologue packs an emotional punch as new developments spread like fungus across the city, and some people get left behind.

Singer Mia has just left care and needs to find the courage to go on stage and show the world how she feels. Set outside an Edinburgh club, and
starring Isis Hainsworth, writer/director Jenni Fagan's raw and heartfelt monologue finds power in the moment after a lifetime of powerlessness.
The Taking of Balgrayhill Street
Donny fantasises about curry sauce with his chips, but is too proud to use the food bank. Set in the high rise flats of Glasgow, and starring Peter Mullan in a moving comedic performance, writer-director James Price's monologue draws on his own history to explore what it feels like to be a hardworking man who has fallen on harder times.
Unicorn
Single mum Tasha has to make a decision when a large sum of money is accidentally deposited in her account. Set in the Welsh Valleys, and starring Tamara Brabon, writer Rachel Trezise's monologue looks at the long-term effects of historical decline in the Valleys, and asks us to consider what we would do in Tasha's position.

The Masked Singer
Part guessing game and part singing show, The Masked Singer sees 12 famous faces compete to pull off the best performance, with their identity elaborately and imaginatively concealed, thanks to an expert team of talented costume designers. The stars will be transformed and they will take on a masked identity and become a fantastic character which will disguise them for the whole series.
Forget any thoughts of fancy dress – they'll be full-on, original, movie-standard creations taking inspiration from worlds as varied as manga, superheroes, and wild animals and mythical creatures. Their transformations will be total, even their speaking voices will be disguised in interviews.
It will be up to a superstar panel to lead the viewers at home in their quest to discover who they are. Although the stars aren't judged on their voices, they'll still need to give their best performance – the audience's least favourite will be eliminated, before the panel try to guess their identity and unmask them.
The Repair Shop
The Repair Shop is a workshop of dreams, where broken or damaged cherished family heirlooms are brought back to life.
Furniture restorers, horologists, metal workers, ceramicists, upholsterers and all manner of skilled craftsmen and women have been brought together to work in one extraordinary space, restoring much-loved possessions to their former glory.
Many of these items have incredible stories behind them and a unique place in history: from an accordion played in the Blitz by a woman who is now in her 90s, to a beautifully crafted clock made by a father who was completely blind; a Pinball machine that is currently being used as a kitchen counter, and a Davenport desk with its trademark fake drawers which fooled burglars - and their crowbar.
The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.
