An abandoned baby is found at the foot of the Sainte-Piété Falls. The whole village is in shock. Joe, Beth and Agnès, three sisters who no longer have contact with each other, notice that the child was discovered near the place where they grew up.

Research continues into the investigation into the abandonment of the baby. Beth, still shaken by her misadventure, worries about her future and makes a discovery that sends her into turmoil.

Back at work, Joe must follow his boss's orders. Beth and Phil, struggling with their relationship problems, must also manage their rebellious teenager. Marie-Ève continues her efforts to become a foster family without Luc's knowledge.
