14-year-old Minke is found on the highway three years after her kidnapping. She doesn't know what happened or why she has wings tattooed on her back. Detective Asha, who failed to find Minke, is determined to unmask the perpetrators this time. Minke's father, ex-detective Lucas, conducts his own investigation against all the rules.

A gruesome suicide puts the investigation into Minke's kidnapping on edge. To speed up the process, police psychologist Kim tries to bring out Minke's repressed memories. Minke is also going back to school for the first time, but in her head she is busy with completely different things. Detectives Asha and Fenna investigate DuPont's past and grow closer.

Due to the intense hypnosis sessions and the traumatic event with Sammy, Minke starts to falter more and more. Her strange behavior gives both Eva and Teun an uneasy feeling about Lucas. While Eva tries to repair her relationship with Minke, Teun starts his own investigation into his father's activities. Asha and Fenna find a possible link between DuPont and De Jong.

After the accident and Kim's mysterious disappearance, Asha becomes convinced that Minke is hiding a dark secret. She puts a lot of pressure on Minke, which puts her in direct opposition to Lucas and Eva. Robert fears that Eva and Minke are in danger from Lucas, who is becoming increasingly unstable. Minke begins to doubt the Sphinx's mission and makes a radical decision.

Eva's astonishing discovery leads to more questions about Minke's disappearance. The Sphinx is forced to change her plans, while the doppelganger fights for her life. Meanwhile, detectives Asha and Fenna investigate Lena's family in Belgium and make an important discovery.

Before joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed The Colbert Report, which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one-third of the time. Good luck, Bill!
